English term

...must he bear it alone and all the world go free?...

English to Czech Art/Literary Religion
It is a verse from a modern american spiritual. I am expected to do an "explain and keep the meaning" job, no poetic or copyrighted work involved.
Any suggestions for ..and all the world go free? The meaning is all the people should bear it as well, not leave it up to him. Next verse says - No, there's a cross for everyone...etc.

...což má nést břímě sám a svět si volně jít?...

Tried to make it rhytmic to make is sound as a verse from a song.
You could also say "...musí nést břímě etc." if you prefer.

agree Jaroslav Tomiczek : Výborně ! A s daktylo-trochejským rytmem! Básník by to neřekl líp.

Just a suggestion

Má jej (kříž) nést sám a ulehčit světu?
(Ne, je zde kříž pro každého)
or
život je těžký pro každého.
