English term

field of view (FOV)

GBK English to Czech Tech/Engineering Games / Video Games / Gaming / Casino
Definition from PCGamingWiki:
Field of view (FOV) is the amount of game view that is on display during a game.An appropriate FOV is different depending on how far the player is away from a display.PC games should be designed with a high FOV of around 85-110 because players normally sit closer to their display. Console games should be designed with a lower FOV of around 55-75 because their players usually sit further from a display; normally the distance between a couch and a TV.
Example sentences:
In the end, right now we have the full control over how the guns look in the game while being able to offer the beloved Field of View slider and letting you play the way you want, with the complete resolution and FoV freedom (The Astronauts)
Instead, If you struggle at spotting and aiming enemies at a mid and long range, a lower field of view value will benefit your gameplay. (Esports Tales)
If the field of view is significantly different to what the eye/brain expects to see, it can result in motion sickness. This can be extreme, resulting in nausea and disorentation strong enough that play duration in excess of a few minutes can become impossible. (Game accessibility guidelines)
