Dutch term

in elkaar gaan ingrijpen

Dutch to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
Informele en formele trajecten in professionalisering van docenten moeten meer in elkaar gaan ingrijpen.

In a text about education I'm not quite sure what the "in elkaar gaan ingrijpen" bit means in this sentence. Perhaps, "...must be more interlocked (with each other)"?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Interlocked looks fine to me.
This is an option too; or linked to(each other)

interlock

It is "in elkaar grijpen"; "ingrijpen" is a mistake by the writer.
