Danish term

hjemfald

Danish to English Other Real Estate Property leasing
This appears in a breakdown of rent charges between 'Boliglehe' and 'Aconto El'. I know this is to do with reversion of the property at the end of the lease but I need a concise rendering in English that reflects what the charge is for.

Thank you, Adrian, that sounds just right. Apologies for the default 'Medical' heading. I should have changed it.

reversion exercise fee

I'm not quite sure why this question has been headlined 'medical'.

Anyhow, US Am. fed. law uses (contigent) remainder-man /-woman - extrapolated from Wills & succession in England & Wales - in the sense of a freehold 'reversioner' and in a way I've never fully understood..
Example sentence:

When a leasehold expires, legal title to the property reverts back to the freeholder. However, the leaseholder (often the occupier) may be able to *purchase the freeholder's reversionary interest* giving them an absolute freehold title.

What is a contingent remainder? This video discusses one type of future interest in land, the content remainder.
