Law/Patents - Law: Contract(s) / theft of goods in transportation
Danish term or phrase: mellemkontraherende
Basically, company 1 contracted another company to transport goods, and company 2 then contracted a third company to transpor them. it's being claimed that:
...sagsøgte 2 som mellemkontraherende og sagsøgte 3 som udførende transportør er solidarisk ansvarlige for tyveriet (which took place while the driver was asleep at the roadside overnight).
Not sure how to say 'mellemkontraherende'.
Advice appreciated.
