Czech term
OMJ
Czech to English
Medical
Medical (general)
Ear, nose and throat medicine
In Czech medical report, from ear, nose & throat physician:
"silznice růžové, v yšší, OMJ volné, sekrece není..."
I know some of these words are spelled wrong. I copied literally from the document, which must have been prepared by voice recognition.
My main question has to do with "OMJ", but I wonder if "vyšší" refers to word before or to "OMJ".
Thanks,
Stephen

ostiomeatal unit
OMJ - ostiomeatální jednotka, i.e. ostiomeatal unit - the outflow tract from the sinuses and includes the ostium of each sinus as well as the meati.
As regards the word "vašší" - my rough guess is that is relates to the previous word "sliznice" (nasal mucosa) since it actually can distend in case of some diseases.
