It all depends on the context - whether you need to translate the term for a religious audience, or just need to explain the term to an English speaking person. I do not think that he/she would understand much if you use the Feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross. The day is the same (September 14th), so the holiday is also the same.

: Holy Cross Day is used among the Anglican Communion followers. As per the Eastern Orthodox Church this day is usually referred to as Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross.
