French to English Law/Patents Law (general)

Academic paper on litigation in pharmaceutical industry. This sentence is really tricky to phrase, but I'm especially stuck on the last bit about the "présomptions". Any suggestions for rephrasing the bit between stars below. (original plus my translation so far...):

"Le TGI de Nanterre avait estimé, le 24 mai 2002, que la preuve du rôle causal du Distilbène auquel la demanderesse a été exposée in utero dans l’apparition d’une tumeur de nature cancéreuse, *était rapportée par présomptions graves, précises et concordantes suffisantes*."

My best version so far:
"In a judgment given on 24 May 2002, the Nanterre Tribunal de grande instance stated that evidence of a causal relationship between the claimant’s exposure to Distilbène in utero and her development of a malignant tumour *was based on sufficient serious, precise and corresponding presumptions*."
