: Outhouse in US English is a can with a seat over it, a "latrine", and is a toilet in a shack. It would be wonderful to sit there keeping warm with a fireplace.

scullery
Jeg er av den oppfatning av at eldhus er det samme som bryggerhus og da kan det vel kalles smoke house, wash-house eller scullery

As I understand it, this may a description of a traditional farm, perhaps it may be one that you can find at a museum - and probably would not be one that you would rent, unless it is renovated.
The bryggerhus or eldhus on our family farm in Akershus had two fireplaces, one for the cauldron for boiling cloths (I guess that was the only way to kill the lice), the hearth in the other room was for rough cooking and making beer. There was also a bricked up baking oven for baking bread (it would have been great for pizza too ;-))). In the old days the farm hands slept on the loft where it was nice and warm.
This bryggerhus on our farm has now been gutted and renovated, and it is used as a charming log house we all call strusset.
So - perhaps the scullery house.

Nor would I rent an "eldhus", which can be anything from a corner of the old barn to a part of the building where the farm hands slept, to a separate cabin . I am sure this brochure refers to the latter. However it is still used for baking and washing.
