verslag van het schriftelijk overleg over de voortgangsrapportage

Dutch term (edited): schriftelijk overleg

written contributions, consultation

It sounds to me as though there has been an exchange of written memos and other comments ('schriftelijk overleg') - perhaps following a request for comment or as part of some consultation procedure - and that the 'verslag' sets out the outcomes of or the conclusions reached through these exchanges.

The best I could make of it would be along the lines of 'summary of the written contributions received concerning the progress report'. Alternatively, you could consider 'report of the consultation procedure concerning the progress report' if it suits the context better...

explained below."

written consultation report regarding progress reporting

See websites:

"4.65 The written consultation report, the Glasgow evidence and the short term working group recommendations all pointed to the need for staff to be supported through the provision of training across a range of disciplines, with staff of all types receiving improved and increased training in relation to their potential involvement in tackling alcohol misuse. Gaps in training were identified for both generic and specialist staff, with the suggestion that staff who may have contact with service users and a role in provision may currently be ill-equipped to deal with alcohol issues."

agree Tina Vonhof (X) : I would use 'summary of written consultation' but you are are right about progress reportING.

summary of written contributions regarding the progress report

We all understand what they are *trying* to say, so my "Highest" rating refers to the fact that this is how I would render it [not knowing further context; up to you to see if this fits with what follows in your text!]

Good luck! I loooooooooooove bureaucratese in ANY language! :)

Please see Chris\' note below, so if you decide to go for this phrasing, which avoids repetitions of \"report\" and the like, the points should go to him!

neutral Chris Hopley : Agree, but how is this essentially different to my suggested translation ('summary of the written contributions received concerning the progress report')?

I'm sorry Chris, essentially, you're right, it isn't ... I hadn' t read your entire posting with enough attention, only your official suggestion, and this seemed a better phrasing to me. I'll see if I can mark it "not for grading"
