: my guess is that original says desire rather than willingness, as willingness doesn't make much sense in context... but who knows... when we only see a translation, not the original....

If, after the termination date, the parties indicate their willingness to continue (whatever it was they were doing before one of them terminated), this agreement shall automatically renew for another year (or one year period).
It seems a bit strange to me: wouldn't the termination (hence "after the date of termination") indicate the desire to terminate the agreement? Perhaps this means that, if the parties continue to do business after one of them terminates, the agreement will automatically renew. :-)
