connecting trail
It's a ski trail leading from one downhill slope to another. (This is question is in the field of sports, not law.)

: That's what I also understood it to be. It's where I always end up shoving myself along with my poles...

Oops! I thought it was a path along a riverbank or something...
Towing-path, maybe?

winding path
... formerly used to drag felled trees down to the valley. It is a path (or road or track) used for horse-drawn carriages (or nowadays: perhaps mainly for tractors) which is separate from the ski slopes

: this sounds the most likely to me. A Ziehweg is almost always a relatively narrow (compared to slopes) path that skiers have to take to get down to the valley, they aren't much fun but it's better than taking the gondola at the end of the day

cleared track
it's a gently sloping wide track that is cleared by a snowplough - here's a photo. I am not sure of the correct terminology though

flat or slightly inclined pathway or easy trail
These are usually found in mountainous terrain or on ski slopes.

dirt road (in the mountains)
This has nothing to do with skiing, except that these paths are found in the mountains.
They were (and are) indeed used to drag felled trees down the mountain. This term is usually used to differentiate the path from a small hiking trail or a paved road.
They are also often used as access roads for mountain huts, cabins or inns. Environmental protection is really strong in Europe, so usually paved roads are not permitted above a certain elevation

PS: it also doesn\'t have to be winding, though often it is
