Spanish term

vomitorios

Spanish to English Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation
I was on vacation in Spain last week and went to a Malaga CF football game. Our seats were high up in one corner. Near the steps up to the seats were signs to "VOMITORIOS". I can't find any non-vomit-related definitions of this word in a dictionary. Is there an English word or an explanation of los vomitorios?

Many thanks, Lisa. This is just what I wanted. I've never heard or seen the English word, though I have seen much evidence at football grounds of a word with the same root. STUART :-)

Access= access, entry which has the same meaning. If you do an Internet search under Kudoz on left of screen it will take you to a search and just type the word you are looking for. Hope this helped! :-)
