Peer comment(s):

agree df49f (X) : total/full/perfect command of skills - full mastery also works well

agree Richard Benham : It's OK, but I prefer "mastery" in most cases. "Command" seems more restricted. It works well for languages, but not so well for other types of skills.

agree Hebe Martorella : it is right but also we could use mastery

thanks
agree Richard Benham : Yeah, it works. The only reason to avoid it is the standard irrational "faux-ami-phobia".

I agree... thanks
disagree jarry (X) : Anglo-saxons prefer the 'understatement' and would never 'claim to 'know it all' as implied by the term "full mastery".

I don't about Brits... but we Murricans are not known for understatement... especially those of us from the NY Metropolitan region...

...must thoroughly/deeply master this skillset

Declined
- must've a perfect command of this skillset
Peer comment(s):

agree Richard Benham : "Thoroughly master" is good, "deeply" less so. "Skillset" is jargon: why not :these skills"? "Have" can only be reduced to "'ve" when it's an auxiliary, not when it's used as a verb in its own right. Cheers.//HR itself is jargon for "personnel management"

Merci Richard, mais skillset est employé en HR et dans les PA en permanence, oui c du jargon :-)

I think mastery is too far-fetched.

Une maitrise totale. That\'s asking for the moon. Who has TOTAL mastery of any subject?
Peer comment(s):

agree Richard Benham : Your answer is fine as an alternative, but I don't see anything wrong with "mastery".//What I would claim for myself and what I demand of others are two different things. I agree that Fr often uses stronger forms than Eng: perfectionnement is another case
2 hrs
I think 'mastery' is over the top. Would you use that noun in your CV? See my comment to Marian Greenfield's suggested answer.
agree Johanne Bouthillier : I like fully versed in best

first time: one or more
next time: master ALL the skills
Peer comment(s):

neutral RHELLER : one or more? for totale de l'ensemble?
4 mins
oh please..it's one or more...
agree Richard Benham : Works well where it fits in grammatically. If it's just an itemized list of requirements, then you'd use the noun. If it's a full sentence, as you say, the verb is more idiomatic in English.
