Russian term

наступление гарантийного случая

Russian to English Bus/Financial Law: Taxation & Customs Pension Fund
I'm translation a summary of an individual's superannuation contributions/pension fund. I understand what the term means but I'm not sure how best to use it in this sentence:

сумма средств пенсионных накоплений застрахованного лица, гарантируемая Агентством по страхованию
вкладов при наступлении гарантийного случая в отношении средств пенсионных накоплений, учтенных на
индивидуальном лицевом счете застрахованного лица.

Is there an official name for this agency in English?

TIA!

Discussion

Sofia Gutkin (asker) Mar 1:
@Denis Unfortunately, your proposed translation is one that I've never heard of. I get 17 hits when I Google the phrase "occurrence of covered loss", which makes me doubt that this is a common or widely accepted term. On the other hand, "insured event" is a much clearer and commonly used term.
Denis Fesik Feb 23:
Occurrence vs event An occurrence is an instance in time when something happens. That something is an event, which in this case has been insured against, and that "against" matters. I haven't found evidence suggesting that insurance policies originally written in English really use expressions such as "insured event/occurrence": it's about the first thing a Russian would come up with when translating such an expression. If colleagues say it's legit—well, I won't argue

insured occurrence

The occurrence doesn't have to be a loss.

neutral Denis Fesik : A loss to an insurer is anything that gives grounds for a claim, so what do you claim if there is no loss? It might be something I just don't know about

https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Агентство_по_страхованию_вклад... - здесь описаны гарантийные случаи, и например, аннулирование лицензии пенсионного фонда под термин loss плохо подходит
agree Angela Greenfield : Согласна. Также “insured event”

occurrence of covered loss

Насколько мне известно, англоязычные страховые документы оперируют такими формулировками

Точнее, "of a covered loss"
