Check the iris port on the head-end access panel. The standard configuration for the transport incubator has an iris port on the head end. However, some transport incubators do not have the iris port on the head end. Rotate the outer ring of the iris port. The iris opens and closes as rotation is continued through 360°. Ensure that the iris port sleeve is installed properly. Close the iris port to prevent air leakages during transport.
