Spanish term

rublos

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Manufacturing
Bodega general para almacenar diferentes rublos

This is either a very obscure term or a typo, unless Latin American drinks bottling plants need to store a lot of Russian currency! If it's a typo, what did they mean to say?

Thanks

@phil That's what I was thinking too. But the suggestion that it might refer to different reds (wines) is an intriguing possibility.

I'm just spitballing here, but 'General warehouse for storing different items' seems a logical guess.
Otherwise, the best option would be to ask the client, although I realise this is not always possible.
Example sentence:

It is designed with 3 layers for storing different items conveniently...

They provide ample space for storing different items...

The notion that it may refer to red wines is interesting…
agree O G V : rublo sería quizás una corrección fallida o errata por asociación

rubros / rojos / tintos

In my opininon, it could be a typo: "rublo" instead of "rubro", which means "red", so this warehouse stores different types of red wines (vino rubro o rojo o tinto). You will know if I´m right by searching into the context.

neutral philgoddard : Does rubro mean red?

According to the Spanish Royal Academy Dictionary, "rubro" means "red" in Spain and "title", "label", "tag", "signboard" in Latinamerica
neutral O G V : eso de "vino rubro", en latín o en italiano, no en español convencional
