German term

rücklösbare Korrosionsinhibitoren

German to English Tech/Engineering Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
I know these are some type of corrosion inhibitors, just can't find out which type!

I'm translating a patent application and the context is:

Oberflächenbeschaffenheit:
Die Oberfläche muss trocken, staub-, zunder- und fettfrei sein.
Einschleppungen von Feuchtigkeit, Säuren, Basen, Salzen, rücklösbaren Korrosionsinhibitoren, Strahlmittelresten müssen zwingend vermieden werden.

That's it I'm afraid, no other reference. I'm guessing that those who know will know!

Discussion

Bourth Nov 12, 2022:
@ Johannes Comme j'ai dit plus haut, il suffit de rechercher une chaîne de mots dans les textes que je cite pour trouver la source. Par ex., si je cherche "Once dried it is resoluble" I get
BPG Adhesives - AIC Wikihttps://www.conservation-wiki.com
Si je cherche "dried fluid should not be tacky or sticky"
je trouve https://metalfluids.com/pub/media/starMetal/pdf/Bosse Lubric...

resoluble corrosion inhibitor

* 'Automotive lacquer” means a thermoplastic coating applied directly to the bare metal surfaces of mobile equipment and mobile equipment components which dries primarily by solvent evaporation, and which is RESOLUBLE IN ITS ORIGINAL SOLVENT.

* Residue Characteristics - This is similar to emulsion characteristics in that the dried fluid should not be tacky or sticky and should BE RESOLUBLE IN ITS OWN DILUTION OR WATER

* Once dried, it is RESOLUBLE IN WATER

* Fuchs Lubricants - Anticorit AQ31 - CORROSION INHIBITOR which yields several levels of protection depending on the concentration levels. Provides effective protection of clean ferrous metal surfaces in high humidity conditions during extended indoor storage. Upon drying, deposition of a thin greasy film that is NOT RESOLUBLE IN WATER, thus providing resistance to condensation. Excellent lubricity.

agree Johannes Gleim : I add the link for the last reference: Upon drying, deposition of a thin greasy film that is not resoluble in water, https://fsel.engr.utexas.edu/pdfs/0_4562_1.pdf

Thanks. In general I don't add links for all it takes to find the text is to search for a string of words in my quotes.
agree philgoddard : You should add links - they're not proper references otherwise. And you need to do the work for people, rather than expecting them to do it.

Thanks/ "I need to do the work for people, rather than expecting them to do it". Sums KudoZ up very nicely ;-)
neutral Lancashireman : I think we may both have been searching for this combination at around the 1hr mark. Google says: Your search - "resoluble corrosion inhibitor" - did not match any documents. Not sure this actually fits asker's context anyway.

Would you believe "resoluble rust preventative"? See image.

anti-corrosion agents

or corrosion inhibitors
Surface condition:
The surface must be dry and free of dust, scale and grease.
The introduction of moisture, acids, bases, salts, anti-corrosion agents that can be dissolved back and blasting agent residues must be avoided at all costs.

disagree Cilian O'Tuama : No need to quote DeepL or Linguee here thank you.

corrosion inhibitor residues

Residues are potentially resoluble and must therefore be zwingend vermieden.

Numerous examples here:

agree Andrew Bramhall : Yes, residues;
