@Robin The text found by geopiet on ekoportal.gov.pl site is an EU document, so an English version must exist. I suggest to search based on authors' names.

a loading opening .... ale to chyba raczej w wielkich piecach hutniczych, nie takich małych "glass kilns" ....

Istnieją dwa rodzaje donic: donice otwarte i zamknięte. Donice otwarte nie mają przykrycia i szkło jest otwarte na atmosferę pieca. Donice zamknięte są przykryte a ich otwarcie ma miejsce jedynie poprzez otwór wyrobowy.
