: EW-Beutel kommen auf Google nur im medizinischen Bereich vor. Ich würde beim Kunden rückfragen.

I saw that when I wanted to provide a ref, but even there only 1 or 2 refs. as I said, I am guessing 100% and just offering a suggestion, which could well be 100% wrong.

TW packet
I was told by the translation agency to translate this term as TW (packet of sweets). The end client, a large manufacturer of confectionery, jams, spreads, fruit preparations etc says that TW stands for "transwrap":
ein "TW-Beutel" ist ein TransWrap Beutel (hier ist die Machart mit gemeint - der Beutel ist nicht wieder verschließbar. Bitte das Kürzel "TW" daher mit übernehmen.
