It's this "na", which doesn't seem to mean the usual "and/by/with”, the “na” before the word “inasimuliwa”, not the one after it which is obviously "by" IMHO.

The shortest words can be the hardest! Interestingly, the English subtitles don't translate it at all.

When writing or narrating a Swahili text or story, you have to convince the reader or the listener that what you are saying is actually true, by accepting those words. It adds flavour to the language. It is the same same way certain narrations begin with the word "indeed"
