Blockchain
Hi all,
I'm translating an interview about Blockchain from Spanish (ES) to English (UK) and am having trouble with a phrase. Please see below:
Can you "terminate" a chain? If not, what would be the most appropriate solution for this context please?
Thanks in advance for your help! :)

If I understand it correctly, they're talking about migrating the data to more secure blockchains based on post-quantum signatures, then shutting the old ones down. You could also say terminating, or closing, or anything along those lines.

Now, as to your question about possible ways to shut down a blockchain without having to go to each and every node and take it down...

In theory, a jurisdiction can shut down a blockchain.

You may know this already, but "registros" are called ledgers.
