I am having trouble separating the three terms "Nachweis-, Erfassungs- und Bestimmungsgrenze", because the translations I find for these tend to overlap - especially for Nachweisgrenze and Erfassungsgrenze. I am proofreading another translator's work and in researching the terms, I found "detection limit" used for both these DE terms.

The translator used the (translated) name of a standard [DIN 32645 „Nachweis-, Erfassungs- und Bestimmungsgrenze unter Wiederholbedingungen"]. On the Internet I found this translation everywhere: "Chemical analysis - Decision limit, detection limit and determination limit under repeatability conditions - Terms, methods, evaluation."

I am not sure this translation corresponds to other sources, but I cannot change this in the document, because these are the terms that people will search for on the internet after reading this text - even if it may be wrong or not the only or best terms.

Erfassungsgrenze
(Abkürzung EG). Traditionell verstand man unter der Erfassungsgrenze in der Analytik die minimale Masse eines in einer Probe nachzuweisenden Stoffes (Analyt), die noch sicher nachweisbar war[1]. In der modernen Literatur wird die Erfassungsgrenze als Konzentration angegeben[2,3]. Die Erfassungsgrenze darf nicht verwechselt werden mit dem Begriff Nachweisgrenze. Während bei einer Konzentration, die der Nachweisgrenze entspricht, eine 50 %ige statistische Wahrscheinlichkeit für den Nachweis des Stoffes besteht, entspricht die Erfassungsgrenze der Konzentration, die mit hoher vorgegebener Wahrscheinlichkeit (z. B. 95 %) nachgewiesen werden kann[3,4]; siehe auch analytische Nachweisbarkeit.
