M&S availability rate

anglais vers français Technique / Génie Construction / génie civil Contract for the supply of aircraft parts
Hi all,
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. It appears only 3 times in the document :

"9.4 M&S availability rate

The ****M&S availability rate**** to reach is 97% per machine. [Company name] will track the availability of the machine with the [tool name] tool.
The availability of the automation (loading/unloading station, shuttle, buffer,...) should not be tracked with the [tool name] tool but with maintenance interventions. The table below shows the details of the breakdown accepted by [Company name].
...
The times to be considered are as follows:
• T: Planned Production Time declared by the unit
• T1: [Company name] pre-diagnostic standby time (not considered in the ****M&S availability rate**** computation)
...
For any**** M&S availability rate**** underperformance, the Purchaser reserves the right to claim as liquidated damages zero point five per cent (0.5%) of the Price of the Works (including, if any, Change Proposal amounts) per each zero point five percent (0.5%) of Product non-availability and/or performance."

Thanks in advance,
Jeff

taux de disponibilité

Usually in the industry, terms as "Machine availability rate" or "System availability rate" are used to describe the OEE (overall equipment effectiveness). So it could be that, in this case, M stands for machine and S for system.

Anyways, what the text is about is the availability rate of a machine that can't be less than 97%, what can or not be used in order to calculate this rate, and the liquidated damages in case of underperformance. In French it is simply "taux de disponibilité".
