I believe it's JEDNOTNÉ PRACOVISKO. You say it's on the registration card. Pracovisko - place where it's been issued. Slovak police has these offices situated in Okresný úrad, which is not their "home land". They have kind of integrated "pracovisko" there which serves in areas of issuing documents - ID cards, passports, car registry, driving licences. They call it "jednotné pracovisko".

Have been Googling the damn thing for hours so don't know if I am coming or going now. I work with a Czech guy who thought we must have found it finally with "jednotné pracovisko", but then I told him that you had suggested "Justičná polícia" so we're having fourth thoughts

Oh, that looks much more promising. You should put it as an answer. :-)

Thanks Stuart. You might be right. Have found a few indicators though for "jednotné pracovisko", including this one http://www.vodicak.sk/vodicak/
Doklad pripravený na JP na odovzdanie.
- JP = jednotné pracovisko

Justičná polícia Best I can find is this. From OÚ JP Trnava (okresný úrad)
