BrE: signed-off Draft H of C/ H o L Parliamentary Bill

House of Commons or House of Lords, Public or Private Member's Bill vs. a Private Single-Subject Bill e.g. to set up a railway line.

An 'engrossed bill' on the Brit. Isles would mean a drafted note of hand like a Bill of Exchange or a Bill of Sale absolute as a receipt of sale e.g. for a TV or by way of mortgage of a chattel, such as of a motor car.
