RAMPA PRZECHYŁKOWA
Odcinek toru (najczęściej w łuku), na którym szyna zewnętrzna wznosi się od punktu zerowej wartości przechyłki do punktu wyznaczającego jej pełną wartość. Rampa przechyłkowa pokrywa się z reguły z krzywą przejściową. Przy małych prędkościach pociągów, na liniach, na których nie ma krzywych przejściowych, rampy przechyłkowe wykonuje się na prostych odcinkach torów.
W Polsce stosuje się najczęściej prostoliniowe rampy przechyłkowe. Rampy krzywoliniowe wymagają mniejszych przesunięć toru przy zwiększaniu prędkości pociągów. Wadą tych ramp jest jednak większa wichrowatość toru w ich środkowej strefie.
