: I wondered about 'réseau' too? Best conveys the 'gas main' idea... / To my surprise, comparable numbers of Ghits for both versions! I come across the 'réseau' version v. often in my work translating FR building site specifications etc.

Merci, je pense qu'on dira que le poseur de canalisations contribue à l'installation du réseau. Réseau est la réalisation finale. J'ai simplement proposé l'intitulé de métier qui revient le plus souvent
