مسموح بالتمييز ضدك إذا كان لديهم سبب كاف للقيام بذلك. وسيلزم أن يكونوا قادرين على إثبات ذلك أمام المحكمة، إذا لزم الأمر. وهذا ما يُعرف من الناحية القانونية بأنه تبرير موضوعي. وإذا كان التمييز مبرراً فلا يعتبر تمييزاً غير مشروع بموجب قانون المساواة.
