Hello all... Here's the 3rd of my 3 questions pertaining to an Argentine master's degree transcript (Universidad de Buenos Aires) that I'm translating. The student studied Oro-Dental and Maxillary Prosthetics. There are 3 similar courses pertaining to dental impressions listed that I'm struggling with. Per ProZ instructions I'm asking the 3 questions separately.

No problem with the first part (implant-supported prostheses) but I can't figure out the meaning of "llave" in the phrase llave de [acrylic resin].
I've been researching this for hours and can't find anything conclusive. Thanks in advance for your help with this.
