Spanish term
perspectiva corporal
Non-PRO
Spanish to English
Social Sciences
Philosophy
The full sentence is: "Voy a compartir algo de la perspectiva corporal desde la que trabajo y algunas recomendaciones para transitar la experiencia de la perforación."
It's from a text about piercings, bodies and pain.
The word-for-word translation "bodily perspective" just does't sound right to me, and I'd be interested to hear alternatives that sound more natural in English.
Specifically, I'd like to:
- Use a word other than perspective, because I don't feel it conveys the same meaning in this case.
- Know whether "bodily" (although correct because it's an adjective) sounds too stuffy and if in everyday usage it would suffice to say "body perspective/body something else" (without sounding incorrect).
If it helps, my target audience is Australians in the body piercing industry.
Thanks in advance for any help!

we talk about your pain not just from a physical perspective, but also from a life perspective. Is the pain or challenge you’re dealing with related to life circumstances, your work, your relationships, your finances, or personal growth?

: Corporal isn't wrong, but I typically hear it in a negative context - corporal punishment, for example. I'd personally go with physical instead.
