Dubbi su tutta la frase in realtà.
Quello che mi sembra di capire è che l'attenzione sui fattori macroeconomici positivi (bassa inflazione, bassi tassi, ecc.) , dovrà anche fare i conti con le variabili microeconomiche che sono meno positive (fatturato, margini, utili, ecc.)

La mia interpretazione è questa:
si fa riferimento alle strategie di investimento. Da un lato si investe per settori, aree geografiche (approccio macro). Entusiasmo perché gli investitori molte volte cavalcano l'onda, diventa una "moda", ad es. adesso c'è la finanza sostenibile.
Il micro invece è più realista, ad es. lo stock picking.
Il concetto è che nessuna strategia da sola può essere vincente, bisogna incontrarsi a metà. Il tutto si può esprimere in modi diversi, ma il succo del discorso mi sembra questo.

Dal contesto mi sembra di capire che l'argomento siano il bull market, mercato rialzista e il bear market, mercato ribassista.
A volte si parla di toro e orso in borsa ma io non li tradurrei letteralmente.

Guardando la frase successiva direi che il senso è quello dell'articolo del link: qualcosa non torna, non si può andare avanti con un mercato azionario che va benissimo e un mercato obbligazionario che è piatto (in US). I fattori macro economici sono negativi, mentre i dividenti volano sulle ali di un ottimismo a breve termine.
Però faccio fatica a ritrovare questo concetto nella frase da tradurre, in pratica mi pare che dica l'opposto della frase successiva.
Tadurre letteralmente? Macro-entusiasti e micro-realisti...
