Spanish term

D/C Edema Pulmonar

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general)
Medical report - do I translate the "D/C' - if so, what to? The edema is on both sides, so I wonder if that is related?

rule-out pulmonary [lung] oedema/edema

D/C habitualmente utilizado en tanto que descartar (pendiente de confirmar) un diagnóstico. En inglés rule-out + diagnóstico se encuentra en contextos similares.

Gracias, liz ;)
agree Stephen D. Moore : As Chema Nieto says, "D/C" usually means "descartar." In English you can also render it "discount".

Thanks Stephen. Also for "discount"; I did not know "discount" could work in this context
