Sect.

Spanish to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Argentine marriage certificate
...constancia de divorcio vincular por ante Juzg. No. 26 Sect. UNICA dictado el xxx en xxx

This is from an Argentine marriage certificate. Any idea what Sect. stands for?

Secretaría > Clerk's Office / Administrative Office

So "Sect. Única" would mean "Sole Clerk's Office" or "Sole (Court) Administrative Office".
I'm sure this is what it stands for, and "secretario" normally means a court clerk, though I'm not completely sure of the best term for Argentina. "Dra." in the following ref. indicates that it's headed by a lawyer (which is also true in Spain now).

"Apellido y Nombre: Dra. Orlandelli, Monica Beatriz
Funcion: Secretario
Dependencia: Cámara Nacional de Apelaciones en lo Civil / Juzgado Civil Nro. 26 / Secretaría Unica"

Thanks, Robert :-) I don't know about that; your negative roll is still better than most people's positive!
