Я проверил свои установочные параметры. К сожалению, по ошибке в строке Notifications about new KudoZ questions там стояла галочка в окошке "I do not "want...". Я исправил.

Dementia is a very complex disease so if you translate such text you need to read a bit more and not just drop a question. It is not about the style but about the TERMS you shall know and learn.

Clear state of mind, oriented When the doctor examines a patient first time (first things first), the examination of the mental status of the patient starts with the assessment of consciousness. The patient is awake/unconscious/comatose etc. It is usally scored according to a so-called GCS=Glasgow Coma Scale.

And the standard description of a status starts like this: male/female patient, moderately developed and fed. Clear state of mind, oriented. The skin is dry, warm, no icterus or cyanosis are observed. The larynx looks to be calm. The chest is proportional, above the lungs *** is heard. Above the heart rhythmic, clear, adequate cardiac sounds, [clear “lub dub, lub dub” pattern], no murmurs. The abdomen is soft and palpable, no sensitivity, pathological resistance is not palpable. Hepar is accessible, lien is not palpable. No sensitivity in the renal area. etc. etc.

Clear state of mind, ***oriented*** = ориентация в пространстве и времени
(like I ask you what day of a week is today, the date or what time it is now / you you konw where you are etc. etc.)

Нарушение ориентации в пространстве и времени I have no time at the moment to write in Russian (I type very slowly) but let me tell you that you really, really made a wrong choice.
my mother was a head of the Nursery department and worked for over 28 years in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in the local hospital. She had a decent library at home so from my early childhood I was deeply interested in medicine but wanted to be a gynecologist. being each day in the hospital with her after my dad passed away let me a special glimpse about the psychiatry and the patients - a rare experience. maybe I saw a lot more than a child should.
I did not become a doctor but a linguist and since then a significant part of my work are texts related to medicine.

I thoroughly read the article under your link. This article intended NOT for professional use just for the public. The text is simply too general, it gives a nice impression but we shall clearly distinguish the TERMS. When I see things like this: "По некоторым данным, положительное воздействие на состояние больных оказывает средиземноморская диета", I cannot take the author for serious.
