Not sure - but I thought it might be a good place to start!
agree Dave Simons : I don't think the "injury" changes the meaning. If the strain didn't injure, there'd be no need to alleviate it.

I think this would be appropriate given your context..it does not really mean "Verletzung", but the effects of repetitive tension from which people suffer
