Discussion

Liviu-Lee Roth Nov 28, 2018:
I found car electrical mechanic
Lara Barnett (asker) Nov 28, 2018:
@ Ovidiu So you think that auto mechanic will be good enough? I have used this:
"Auto-electrical mechanics".
Do you agree?
Ovidiu Martin Jurj Nov 28, 2018:
electromecanic auto The two words: electromecanic auto. I know the exact name of this trade in German: Kfz-Mechatroniker. This would be auto(motive) mechanic & electrician.

Electro-mechanical technician

”Stefan Procopiu” from Vaslui is a Vocational Technical High School, not an industrial academy.
The certificate entitles the graduate to be employed as electro-mechanical technician.

Job specialty is indeed ”automotive”

A question: how do you know the person is going to repair only cars/ small vehicles (for people transportation mainly) and not trucks (for other special purposes)? I think ”car” limits the competences of this certificate.

Note from asker:
Thank you, at what is the wording in the photo? Also, an UK an academy is a secondary school which is what this educational institution in Vasului is.
"automotive" however is the adjective, not the noun and we cannot say "automotive mechanic" I have added in discussion box my final choice of term.
