A safety shoe is located in the holder inside the operators compartment. When positioning the CT8000 at the aircraft, the safety shoe should be positioned directly below the aircraft door when it is opened. If compressed between the aircraft door and the platform, the safety shoe will cause the cabin to lower for a set period of time.
