Spanish to English Medical Medical: Cardiology abbreviations in an echocardiogram
Dear colleagues, this is in an echocardiogram report from Argentina. Under the measurements for Aortic Valve, there is one abbreviation I haven't seen and can't find in Cosnautas, on Proz, or anywhere else: "Gte". I've also looked unsuccessfully for it in English, in case it's an English abbreviation. Can anybody help?

Joseph Tein Jun 17, 2018:
Gte P? We have a clear answer for Gte Med and Pico, but I'm not seeing anything here for Gte P. I'm wondering whether this P might stand for Pulmonar. You're sure that these results in your report are for the aortic valve gradient?

Does 'gradiente' make any sense?

Abstract
The peak systolic pressure gradient (the difference between peak left ventricular [LV] and peak aortic systolic pressures) has been used for many years as a primary measure of severity in children with valvar aortic stenosis (AS).1–3 Reliance on the peak systolic pressure gradient in clinical decision-making was based on the practice of measuring the gradient at catheterization by withdrawing a single catheter from the left ventricle to aorta.
