So, my understanding from NAV.no is that this a sick note from a doctor etc. that says if some changes were made by your employer you could go back to work. But I have not found an English translation for this/cannot think of one!

The employer must make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disability at work.
For example, a friend of mine went back to work after 3.5 years of cancer treatment. When she started back first her hours were reduced to facilitate her return to work.
