The SC’s workmen’s compensation board must be notified a week before the start of any work
involving crane- or derrick-suspended personnel platforms (“work platforms”) or similar
conveyances, unless the work lasts fewer than ten work shifts.
All persons on work platforms or similar conveyances must wear personal fall protection, which must
be connected at suitable securement points capable of bearing 6kN of force.
