Hello
in the sentence:
Köpeskillingen för aktierna uppgår till 1 MSEK ***kontant*** och 24 798 stycken aktier i XXX AB
I'm not sure about kontant as it is not "in cash" or anything similar
Is it the ***face** value of the shares (quoted in a currency)?
Thanks

in cash
The payment is in two parts: one million SEK in cash (bank transfer or whatever) plus 24,798 shares in XXX AB. So the payment is partly in cash, partly in kind.

Discussion
And the answers vary as doe the interpretations of the phrases. I'm going to choose "In cash" and take it as "no other securities, exchange notes, bonds etc. were used to pay for the shares but the voting shows that even translators are not clear on this alas.
I don't know Swedish law but due to anti money laundering legislation in general, I had rejected any idea of paying such a large amount "in cash". Do you really mean "in cash" as opposed to a bank transfer for instance?
