French term

cinéma de montage

French to English Tech/Engineering Metallurgy / Casting
This term is used in is a document describing NDTs for welds on a volute.

I was just thinking "assembly process" or assembly order...
Any ideas?

In the same way that your answer differs from the asker's own suggestion of "assembly order".

I must admit I'm less confident than I was. "Cinéma de montage" does get two bits with "soudure", and in one it's in quote marks. So although I still think "sequence" is the right idea, "cinéma" may not be a typo.
