Non-PRO French to English Marketing Marketing / Market Research Brochure/powerpoint
Hello all,

I am translating a marketing document containing information on how the company will advertise its partner's services its brochures and powerpoints (French (France) to English (UK). There are 2 separate but related terms that I would dearly love your advice on:
en première ligne and en deuxième ligne.

The phrases are as follows:

X insérera votre logo en première ligne de notre plaquette de présentation.

X insérera votre logo en deuxième ligne de notre plaquette de présentation.

First line and second line don't make sense to me in this context, but maybe I am overcomplicating matters for myself!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Have a lovely Sunday!

Jan 21, 2018 23:17: Germaine changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): Rachel Fell, Jennifer White, Germaine

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

What is your translation for plaquette de présentation? That should help.

I.e. your logo will be displayed first/second. Presumably, this brochure will feature the logos of various companies, and the top position is up for grabs.
Note from asker:
Hi Julia. I feel like this was such an obvious answer, staring me straight in the face! Thank you for your help with this. Have a lovely Sunday!
