Thanks for everyone's input. When I find out from either the client or the school will let you know. "Modern foreign language" does not seem to fit as the student already has three modern foreign languages listed among her "matières".

Probably not LVE As Spanish and English are listed, it would be strange to have LVE as well.

Typos, DVE and LVE The spellcheck is not completely off, as the words typed do exist. However, the last sentence should read no doubt : "Elle doit cependant veiller à participer davantage à l'oral".
This could be DVE, what many schools refer to as "vie scolaire" (pôle de vie scolaire, bureau de vie scolaire, etc.). However, it's position in the list suggests that it is LVE. The only way to be sure is to check with the client.
Typos are not at all unusual in school reports. I've seen a fair number of them since I've been a parent (1994).

I translate a lot of school reports, and like @Philgoddard I'm inclined to think that it might be a typo for LVE, although a typo in a school report would be pretty unusual.
Other things that sprang to mind were something to do with "E/Espagnol", or the D could be "Discipline" (DNL, meaning 'Discipline Non-Linguistique' is a subject title commonly found on reports).

which bac? It might help to know which bac it Is. It sounds as if it could be a Bac ES and thus Phil's suggestion of LVE sounds logical.

Orthographe is spelling, not handwriting, which is écriture.
Is there any way it could be LVE, langue vivante étrangère?

Here's the list of subjects; P.E., FRENCH, HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY, PHYSICS, DVE???, SPANISH, MATHEMATICS, ECONOMICS AND SOCIAL SCIENCE, ENGLISH. Also, the teacher's comment is about handwriting. Might it be a computer program, and does one use the word "orthographe" to mean writing code maybe? I also found DVE in a French text described as "Digital Video Effects". Grrrrr.

DVE I too thought of Division de la vie de l'élève when I saw your question. Are you certain it is a school subject? If so, I also note that you don't list any science subject in your question. Any chance it could be one of them, an acronym like SVT? And École Diagonale is also keen on extracurricular activities. Could it be one of them?
