...och inrymde tvenne lador samt sädesgolv. So there were a couple of barns and a "grain floor". I am no farmer but I don't think there is such a thing.

I'm no farmer either, but it's a thought.
Skribent gives loggolv or loge for threshing floor...
But if the writer is not using the obvious terms, I suppose guessing is legitimate.
Where in the world (and in time) is this building? It reminds me of some archaeological texts I once worked with, but lots of factors might make a difference.
The culture: what kind of family or community used it, and how many different crops are stored?
Climate ( tropical/northern ... )?

: grain floor sounds better to me. Found a couple of instances of sädesgolv on the net and none of them seem to indicate that the floor is used for threshing?
