Did you watch the video? It could be "deep and dumb", but certainly not "deef". The guy clearly says "deep" and links it to the next word "and", sounding like "deepand". there is no "F" there whatsoever.
Now, if deep and dumb means deaf and mute, you're right. I really don't know the expression.

It's deep and down, Robert, not deef and dumb. It's not a typo. The idiom is more common among the Brits, but it's like "deep down inside" ou "in reality".
