pass precision

i.e. highest pass precision or even run-by/run-past precision

I think this is a shortened form of "vorbeilauf" (especially considering the shortened form of your other question)

i.e. the precision of the machine for printing labels as they pass by the printing head - if it is the same type of machine as I have had to translate. The printing head is stationary, and the labels are printed as they pass by

I'd say 'highly precise traction' , or 'traction of the highest precision', i.e. each label advances in perfect linearity
