Laboratorios Computarizados / Laboratorios Informatizados
You make a question without context: “How would one translate this into Spanish?”.
With only this question, there are different ways to translate “Computer-Based Laboratories”.
About the translation of “laboratories”, there is not discussion that is: “laboratorios”.
There are different ways to translate “computer-based”.
If you translate in a textual way, you will say: “basado en computadores”.
This implies the laboratories use computers for their work. The computers are the “machines” used for the work of the laboratories.
In other words, the laboratories are computerized. They are “computerized laboratories”.
And the translation to Spanish of “computerized laboratories” is “laboratorios computarizados”.
Other common translation is: "laboratorios informatizados" because they are using informatics. In Spanish: informática ( tratamiento automático de la información por medio de computadoras)
My first suggestion is translate:
- “Computer-Based Laboratories” = “Laboratorios Computarizados”
Second suggestion: “Laboratorios Informatizados”
Third suggestion: “Laboratorios Basados en Computadores”
Fourth suggestion: “Laboratorios con Computadores”
SOURCES:
Merriam=Webster's Spanish-English says:
computerize in Spanish: computarizar, informatizar

laboratorios con computadores (CBLs)
Es una terminología que se usa bastante para referirse a la parte práctica de un curso, puede tratarse de laboratorios reales o virtuales (esto último consiste en tener acceso online a un software para hacer prácticas con el mismo):

http://sedici.unlp.edu.ar/bitstream/handle/10915/27417/Docum...

Discussion
La variación en coloquialismos (?) de pueblo a pueblo es grande entre los jovenes.
Saludos,
sí traduzco para un cliente muchos textos de cursos de informática y esto de los laboratorios aparece bastante, con el contexto disponible parece lo más probable.
Salud!
Después de una poca de investigación estoy de acuerdo que parezca relacionado con la educación - pero me gustaría asegurar antes la falta de contexto.
Aclarar de todas formas que más que de un título de curso, creo que se habla de un formato de enseñanza...
Salud
Can you give us some more context please? Is it the title of a course, as Pablo suggests, or is it, for example, a description of a company department?
