French term

dfir

French to English Bus/Financial Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Work
This is a residence permit (country=Switzerland. It appears on the page where there is 'Swiss confederation', then 'livret pour étrangers'in various languages and this appears at the bottom with 'Form xxx.yz dfir(I think 'form. is 'formulaire') I only found dfir refers to 'digital forensics incident response' but do not think it has anything to do with the residence permit. the 'xxx.yz' are numbers-probably reference numbers and 'dfir' are just next to them. Thank you.

@ AllegroTrans Thank you; I did & also with Formulaire & dfir but nothing doing
AllegroTrans Dec 18, 2016:
Part of number Asker, try googling the form number - this usually results in being able to see it
Josephine Cassar (asker) Dec 18, 2016:
Part of number Could be as even the form number is strange-it has 3 numbers followed by a dot, then 2 more numbers, then dfir. The problem is I do not know if is part of a number or not and that is why I asked. I just cannot find anything
AllegroTrans Dec 17, 2016:
But if this is merely part of a form number, you shouldn't translate it
AllegroTrans Dec 17, 2016:
A suggestion Work on the basis that the first 2 letters of dfir stand for "Département fédéral" and research on the web until you have found this. It's not rocket science, asker.

Don't translate it - it seems 99% certain that it's part of a form number
